Lynda Kelly (Committee Member)

Recently retired after 40 years as a primary school educator. The last fifteen years have been spent as the Principal of a low decile, multicultural school. During this time I have become very aware of the importance of developing the early literacy skills of disadvantaged students and also recognised the needs of many of their parents in this area. Have worked passionately to try and achieve some equity for these students and their families. I would now like to be able to support adults to become confident with their Literacy and Numeracy skills.

A wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, her lifetime experiences in not for profit groups, beginning with Girl Guides culminated with 3 terms as Waiuku Elected Representative on Franklin District Council. Now retired I am currently a Priest of St Brides Anglican Church.
